Quantum mechanics has this funky experiment involving to slits and photons. Google "2 slits experiment" and I'm sure you can find all sorts of information on it. I'm not going to type up a discription of the experiment. For the purposes of this post all that really matters is that in the experiment the act of adding sensors, observers, to the experiment changes the results.
The act of observing the world around us changes the way it behaves, at least on the quantum level.
